Kitchen Remodel

Danny and Vanessa are pros at what they do. The communication through the entire remodel went very well and they were prompt in all of my inquiries about the project and it’s status. I have built 4 homes in my life times, all with different General Contractors, including myself. Although this was a not a complete home construction project, I was thrilled with how Evangeline Construction handled my project. For those that have managed these types of projects before, half of the issue is generally getting subs to show up on time. This was not an issue with Evangeline. They did their work on time everyday, and ensured that everyone else was getting what they needed done too. The work looked great after it was over! I am planning more remodeling within the next two years. Evangeline is who I will be calling.

Danny & Vanessa are absolutely amazing to work with. Danny does impeccable work and Vanessa was there every step of the way to assist us through the whole project. I would whole heartedly recommend Evangeline Construction and we plan to use them again with future projects.

Shower Remodel

I can’t say enough about Evangeline construction. I hired them to completely gut and install a new spa tiled shower and it came out fabulous. Danny did an amazing job quite the perfectionist I might add which the end result is exactly what I wanted . Danny and Vanessa are extremely professional and reliable I would recommend and will be using again for my home in the future .

Vanessa and Danny were great throughout the entire process from estimate until the completion of the project. Danny started the job when they said he would and finished sooner than expected. Danny worked full days and was not going back and forth between our job and someone else’s like many other contractors do. Danny personally did the job and did not subcontract out the work or have random people working for him. He cleaned up every day before he left, which we really appreciated since we have allergies and asthma that become aggravated by construction dust. We are very happy with the quality of work and confident our bathroom will stand the test of time.
Danny gutted our master bathroom and closet area completely and even removed a wall. He tiled the entire bathroom including a shower, where before we had a bathtub. The estimate was spot on and did not increase. The cost was comparable to other estimates we had received. We ultimately decided to go with Evangeline, since we could tell Danny knows what he is doing and we know from previous experience that quality work is hard to find! Vanessa has been great with connecting us with other professionals to help us with the project like choosing our tile and coordinating grout, etc… She returns calls and texts promptly and helped coordinate any parts of the job not done by Evangeline.
Danny and Vanessa demand high quality work from anyone they refer and will make sure everything is done properly. Danny and Vanessa are very professional, knowledgeable, fair and truly care about their customers. We have already recommended them and will continue to do so. Subfloor Repaired Installation New Flooring
Danny and Vanessa couldn’t have been more accommodating when our hardwood floor was damaged by a water leak. They showed up quickly to help find the cause, and as demo started and they found more hidden damage they adapted and repaired that too. The new floor looks great! They showed up on time, finished when promised, and even slightly under budget. They really cared about helping us out of a bad situation. It was like dealing with a friend more than a contractor. We would definitely recommend them.

Kitchen Remodel
I had a need to remodel kitchen in my condo on Daniel Island. I called different companies and ads and had total 5 visits and 4 quotes for the future work. I picked Danny with Evangeline Construction because he was the only one who was able to answer all my construction and design questions (I had a lot of them). He was very knowledgeable and obviously very experienced. He also gave me several ideas and suggestions right during the first visit. The work he did for me was as follows: My kitchen island/bar was ridiculously tall, I couldn’t even find anywhere that tall chairs for the bar. Danny cut down and leveled that kitchen island. He also assembled and installed RTA kitchen cabinets, installed butcher block countertops, installed subway tiles. He also advised on the correct grout color for the tiles. Installed new kitchen sink. And he painted the kitchen afterward. All work was done in 4 days total, which was very impressive to me! The quality of work is outstanding! I highly recommend Danny for any remodel project!

Subfloor Repair and Floor Tile Installation Throughout Entire House

Danny came out to do an estimate on some new flooring for me. To save some money, I decided I was going to rip up the old flooring myself. What a mess. The subfloor underneath a majority of the area was completely rotted out. Badly. When Danny showed up, I was visibly stressed. I knew he didn’t sign up for doing any major subflooring work and I was afraid he was going to turn around and walk away. Instead, he assured me that everything would be fine. And it was.

I was quoted for what it would cost to also replace the subfloor, which was more than reasonable, and although it added about a week to the project, Danny was extremely professional, extremely stress free (which helped me out a lot), and the end result was way better than I was expecting.

Because I was doing a complete remodel of my house (and trying to do what work I could myself), Danny offered his knowledge to set me in the right direction, and it helped immensely.

A few weeks after he wrapped up, he came back out and fixed a tile that I had broken when I dropped a tool on it.
